Target Audience Research
Myself and my group conducted research into our target audience by creating a questionnaire. This research should provide us with information about the audience's knowledge of the subject, likes and dislikes etc-which will help us form our final decisions about the form and content of our programme.

Analysis of Preliminary Exercise
After watching our group video back, I have anlaysed both the strengths and weaknesses of the video.
Strengths
Strengths
- The framing is quite good - we have followed the Rule of Thirds. (The interviewee's eye line is 1/3 down the frame)
- The cutaways relate to the topic of the documentary.
- We have used a variety of different shots in the cutaways - which add variety and prevent the audience from becoming bored.
- Interviewee was filmed on an immobile chair.
- Music is a little too loud.
- A jump cut is visible.
- Some of the cutaways are too short - only appear on the screen for 1/2 seconds.
- Cutaways are mixed up and so it doesnt make sense.
